What gets cleaned

The whole enclosure,
not just the floor.

Florida pool enclosures collect a specific kind of grime: mildew on the deck, green film on the screens, a black line along the bottom rail where water sits, and pollen in every corner of the frame. Most homeowners scrub the deck and give up on the rest.

Kingdom Harvest treats the lanai as one job. The deck is cleaned with the method that suits the surface, pavers, travertine, or concrete, the screens and frame are soft washed, and the surrounding walkways and lanai walls are done at the same time so nothing looks half finished.

  • Deck surfacePavers, travertine, marble, brick, or concrete, each cleaned at the pressure the material can take.
  • Screens and frameSoft washed to remove green film and mildew without tearing mesh or dulling the aluminum.
  • Lanai walls and ceilingStucco, painted walls, and ceiling fans dusted and washed.
  • Furniture moved and replacedLoose furniture moved so the whole deck is done, then put back.
  • Optional paver sealingFor paver decks, a seal after cleaning locks the joint sand and holds the color.

How it works

One visit, start to finish

  1. Evan looks at the deck material, the screen condition, and anything delicate like a heater, lighting, or an outdoor kitchen.
  2. Furniture is moved, plants and the pool are protected, and the screens and frame are soft washed first.
  3. The deck is cleaned with a surface cleaner or soft wash depending on the material, then rinsed toward the drains.
  4. Everything is put back, and if you chose sealing, the pavers are re-sanded and sealed once dry.

Good to know

Questions homeowners ask

Can you clean the screens without damaging them?

Yes. Screens and the aluminum frame are soft washed, never hit with high pressure, which is what tears mesh and strips the frame coating.

Is the cleaning solution safe for the pool?

The deck is rinsed toward the drains, not the pool, and the pool is protected during the work. If the deck is pavers and gets sealed afterward, Evan will tell you how long to keep the pool cover off.

How often should a lanai be cleaned?

Once a year for most Treasure Coast homes. Shaded lanais or ones under oak trees may want it every eight to nine months.

Do you also seal pool deck pavers?

Yes, and it is the best add-on for a paver pool deck: the clean brings the color back and the sealer keeps mildew from taking hold in the joints again.
